Warriors Writing
TITLE: Just One More
CRAFT: “Hurry up Dylan and Kayde we need to sell this last box of chocolates”I shouted. “Just one more box we were thinking in our heads but it was getting dark so we went home”.
The next day we got up at 6:30am to count up our money, and we had.... $74.50c but we needed $5.50 to get the tickets.
We were walking to our rugby game and I looked around the corner and I saw SHAUN JOHNSON my favourite player we walked up to him and we were talking to him and he said he will come to our game and if we all scored he would give as a $5.
Jamie and Dylan both scored in the first half so it was up to Kayde to score in the second to get the $5. There was 1 minute left before full time and Kayde got an intercept and scored so we got the money.
Then we rushed home and put it with the other money. We begged our mum for 50c she said “you are lucky I have spare change” we all shouted YAY.
We gathered the money we had the exact amount then we ran to our computer and went on Ticketek and bought the tickets we couldn’t wait for next week.
Throughout the week we were anxiously waiting for time to pass everyday. Then game day

And our mum drove us to the game.
It was an exciting first half half but we were down 26-30 . It was back and forward with no tries in the second half but in the last minute something extraordinary happened , my favourite player Shaun Johnson scored and had the kick to win it and… YAY! The crowd went wild.
After the game we went down to the field and got some autographs on our t-shirts and posters
That was a day to remember.

Cycling Writing

Wednesday was my first session and we learnt the proper way to put a helmet on. The more uncomfortable and tighter it was the better. This session we didn’t get on our bikes but I hoped the next session we would.
The second session we actually got on our bikes which I was happy about. It was rainy and cold so we didn’t finish, but we continued after lunch. During the first part they talked to us and told us to get off the left side of the bike, because if you fall you fall to the footpath and not towards the cars. We also got into buddies and we had to bike at the same pace. We had to yell “clear!” over our right shoulder and indicate. We practiced this for quite a while.
The third session was the final one and we finally got to do the road ride.We did a short bike around the block and luckily there weren't too many cars. I was nervous but excited to get started. I didn’t know what to expect. Every corner we had to stop so it was kind of boring, but from the stopping I learned a lot more than I thought I would.
Overall I learned a lot more than I expected and I feel more confident now.

Pigeon Impossible
One Day a guy named Walter Goldberg lived in was on a mission to destroy the Moon by himself. Walter was a very strange man he never showed any emotions he never smiled and he was always mad for no reason.
ABOUT THE MISSION
Walter had a mission that seemed impossible, but his plan sounded very simple but it wasn’t.
It was to sneak into NASA”’s HQ then steal a fake identity then wear the same clothes as them a space shuttle and space suit and food then ride off to space, he planned to do it on Friday the 13th at 12pm.
DOING THE MISSION
Friday came he got all his black gear on then drove to the destination and scoped the areas that were best to get in. He went threw the place with the least guards and managed to get in. He stall a spare suit stuffed it in his bag grabbed the keys to the Space Shuttle hopped in it when nobody was watching and 321 BLAST OFF!. He had nearly finished his mission he just needed to destroy the Moon by the way this took years to get to the Moon but we’ll skip that.
DESTROYING THE MOON
He was so close to finishing the mission he just needed to press the big red button to fire the rocket. 321 he pressed the red button the rocket launched and BOOM the Moon blew up but unfortunately he was to close to it that he blew up.
END
He successfully finished the mission but it didn’t end up good for him.

Rep Touch
5-2! We just won the semi final and we’re into the final! I was nervous. “Can we win it for the third time?”
We had a team talk then we ran out onto the field and waited anxiously for the hooter to go. Finally the hooter went and we started with the ball. We did a team move and scored but they fired back quickly and scored twice so the score was 2-1. I had butterflies in my stomach. It was nearly half time and and my team got a runaway try so it was level at 2-2.
Second half. We scored 2 quick tries to take the lead. I was feeling confident that we could win but I had a headache from the heat so I went off. We scored again and the game was over. I felt so happy that we won and excited to receive our medals.
That’s a day I will never forget!

MUD RUN!!!!!!
Green Pastures Camp 2017.
😃 😃 ⇐ ⇐ ⇐ ⇐ ⇐ ⇐ ⇒ ⇒ ⇒ ⇒⇒ ⇒ 😀 😀
Mud run ,
The mud run was my next challenge. At the start i was really nervous but then I dipped my foot in for the first time and I screamed as the mud oozed over my foot.
The next part Fran's dad was covering us with mud and throwing it at us but I moved behind someone so I didn't get any mud on my face and hair. By the way it wasn't just mud it was water and cow poo as well.
Next challenge was hard cause you could hardly move but I got move but I stood on Duncan and held on to Kayde and finally got out, Then it was a sprint to the finish well thats what I thought at least. There was one more challenge the deepest part I was trying to swimming but it wasn't working out so Wiggled out then it was a sprint to the finish.
😀 😀 ⇒ My favourite part was standing Duncan. ⇐ 😃 😃

1st day of year 5
I can't believe I'm in the senior syndicate. I'm so excited that I have 4 teachers! This is going to be the best year of my life.
First thing we did was attend a powhiri to welcome all the new people to the school. We sang Maori welcoming songs and heard some speeches.
I found out that there were 90 people in my class and 3 classes to ourselves. The things that we did before morning tea went a lot slower than usual because there's 90 of us.
Yay morning tea
At morning tea I played rugby fortunately it was hot and I was sweating.
After morning tea we did this grid to get to know the other people in the class that we don't normally talk to. We had a sheet that had random stuff. We had to ask different people the questions, like if they walked to school or had a pet.
Yay lunch
At lunch I did the same thing played rugby and was sweaty but there was about a 15 minute period of just prickles! I just kept stepping on them and it HURT.
After lunch we went outside and did under and over in one big line and it was slow. Next we got into smaller lines and it went way faster. The lesson there was that you need to talk and help each other. Oh I forgot there was heaps of prickles. Then we did sprints first year 5’s than 6’s. When I finished the race I said to myself thank goodness I didn't get any prickles.
That was a great first day.
Home time!!!!!!
